Cauldron of Grief/ A Death Cafe Experience

Following up several held in person Death Cafes, mainly in Bali, I am expanding this area of my work and renamed it into Cauldron of Grief.

Death and Dying are not on our radar until they are. So this offering might not be significant to you in this moment of your life.

If it is, be my guest and feel welcome in this space of love and care and shared sorrow.

Once we have been suddenly or even expectedly been acquainted with the loss of someone significant to us, or the loss of someone who was significant to someone we care about, we are in a new era of our life. It is in deed an initiation, a complete shift in our perspective on life and our identity.

Grief can be a very isolating and lonely experience because light laughter or some ordinary humour are something that suddenly feels like something we can never experience again. And this can be a very deep and new experience.

For this reason I hold these groups. We want to talk about Death, hear the experiences of others, break the taboos on sharing the depths of life in this way and we want to do so, in a safe and confidential space.

The Cauldron of Grief is meant to be that for you. We come together and out of our isolation to meet in this safe container to be eventually able to meet the world again, knowing we have a place to feel this and speak about it, take all the time we need to come to terms with this loss.

There is no timeline in grief, grief can be all consuming and feel never ending…
